My husband and I have each written separate letters to our children on every single one of their birthdays. Each one is in our own handwriting, with pictures attached of the child with each parent on their birthday. Once I started blogging I shared the letters here but as you can see some are missing, which just means I wasn't blogging much during that time.
I think this activity is an invaluable one, that both children and their families will cherish when they are older. We also enjoy reading the older entries and reliving those special moments, those ordinary miracles, we tend to forget about.
