The Witch's House

Once upon a time there was a tiny witch who was wandering through the forest. The leaves were falling from the trees and it was getting colder...it would be winter soon and the witch needed to find a home to keep her warm.

Suddenly, a piece of paper fluttered down infront of her. The witch picked it up and declared, "This will be a perfect house for me!"

The witch pulled a tiny pair of scissors out of her pocket (she always carried them with her) and, after folding the paper in half, snipped off 2 corners.

The witch knew she needed a door so she got to work. She made sure the door was pointed so that her witches hat could easily fit through.

When she walked inside the first thing she noticed was how dark it was. She needed a window. So she went back outside and once again used her scissors...

And while she was busy doing that, a tiny little mouse scurried by. The witch quite liked mice, and all little creatures. "Little mouse?" She asked, "Would you like to live here with me this winter? I would love to share my house with you!" So she made a tiny door, just for the mouse.

The witch looked at her house and thought, "Yes, this will do just fine." She and the mouse walked in through their doors, and do you know what they saw when they went inside?

!!!!Happy Halloween!!!!
