I grew up in a village of 500 people and now live in a beach town of 10 000. Wife to Jeff, Mama to Makenna and Jack. This is my place to share what's up with us, and the place where I sometimes need to pour my heart out about the not so sunshiney moments. This is my happy place. I love you, I love you not

I love you....

Presents! Who doesn't love presents? From the perfect silver necklace, the great new purse, the much wanted DVD, the books, the cookbooks, the bottles, the flowers, the great cards, and much more...I love them all, and love you all. Thank you!

Parties! Last night my husband threw a birthday party for me. I had a great time. Thanks to everyone who came, called and sent messages. I love having all my favourite people around me. I missed those of you who couldn't come, and I had a GREAT time with those of you who did. Thank you!

Tylenol...noticing a theme here? Today is one of those days when I am thankful for the little things in life...like tylenol. ;)

The domino effect. I know of three people who, after reading my blog, have completed their wills and powers of attorney. Another friend has begun making up a meal each week, after reading this blog. I know of two others who have started their own blogs, which are good for their souls. My father in law has been commisioned to build two more potting benches, by people who saw the picture of it on my blog. I think that's all pretty cool. I also love your comments and feeback. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

I love you not....

My camera got left outside overnight, and did not survive the rainstorm. Yes, mom, I know you told me to move it...why didn't you just take it inside for me right then??

How fast the weekends go. Monday morning already? Really? *sigh.*

When I was a waitress in highschool, there was an older gentleman that had a special place in my heart. He would come in very regularly, always had a joke to tell and had a smile that warmed your heart. "Dewey" was a special man with a big heart. He passed away today. He lived a long full life, and the thought of him will always make me smile.

Have a good week everyone!

Yes I must agree we all love presents, (it doesn't matter if they are given after much time spent in the mall or something home made and given from the heart) and spending time with great family and friends, glad you enjoyed your day. Your domino effect is continuing, I too have made an appointment to finally have my papers updated, my current ones are 15 years old when you and Mike were both still kids. My best friend from high school works as a secretary for my lawyer and she asked if I was "planning on going somewhere?" and when I said no she whole heartedly agreed I was definitely long overdue to have things brought up to date! As for your camera, what can I say, I thought, hey she's not a little girl anymore, she's 30, I'm sure she'll remember to take it inside when she's done with it. I guess in someways you will always be my little girl! Right now you are thinking the weekends are going by much too fast, just you wait, it won't be long before you're saying where have the years gone, just like I've been asking myself lately. Some people have problems dealing with milestone birthdays, for some it's 30, others 40 and still others it's 50. The first 2 have had no effect on me, and I will deal with 50 when it gets here, but knowing that my baby is now 30, wow, that has really had me shaking my head this week! Once again, glad you had a VERY HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY!! Love always, Mom.

okay, A) your "baby" is 24.

B) Under normal circumstances I am sure i would have remembered about my camera, but those were not normal circumstances.
