a) my Auntie Di and Uncle Jim who celebrated their 32nd anniversary yesterday (in Cuba I might add) and have always been role models to Jeff and I when considering what a good marriage looks like and
b) my pal Patti and her fiance Barry, whose relationship with Jeff and I has grown closer and deeper over the past year. Patti and Barry are getting married tomorrow, an event and party that has been years in the making.
This was read on our wedding day, almost 9 years ago by Karen, a lifelong friend, and has always been one of my favourites.
