About Me

Melissa
I grew up in a village of 500 people and now live in a beach town of 10 000. Wife to Jeff, Mama to Makenna and Jack. This is my place to share what's up with us, and the place where I sometimes need to pour my heart out about the not so sunshiney moments. This is my happy place. St Patrick's Day Fun

....St Patricks' Day Fun...

Making shamrocks with our fingerprints and with apple stamps...

One green shamrock, in the morning dew,
Another one sprouted,
and then there were two.

Two green shamrocks, growing beneath a tree;
Another one sprouted,
and then there were three.

Three green shamrocks, by the cottage door;
Another one sprouted,
and then there were four.

Four green shamrocks, near a beehive
Another one sprouted,
and then there were five.

Five little shamrocks, bright and emerald green,
Think of all the luck
these shamrocks will bring

"He Lived Under a Rainbow"
(tune of B-I-N-G-O)

There was a little leprechaun,
He lived under a rainbow.

He lived under a rainbow.

Picnic lunch in the living room, catered by McDonalds. They have McDonalds in Ireland, right?

Afternoon snack...

Graham wafers, coloured mini marshmallows and mini chocolate chips

Baked in the oven at 350 for 4 mins

Then add these to the top of the cooked ones... the idea for which I got here...

Add some green milk...

:)

When Irish eyes are smiling,
Tis like a morn in spring.
With a lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing
When Irish hearts are happy
All the world is bright and gay
When Irish eyes are smiling
Sure, they steal your heart away.
