"Love the one you're with..."

Back in September, Makenna began talking about a "Pegasus" Webkin. A horse with wings. Her mommy saw one in September, but didn't buy it, thinking that if she still wanted it closer to Christmas, she would get it then.

She was still asking for it closer to Christmas and suddenly her mommy couldn't find it anywhere - not in the local stores that sell Webkinz, not even in the city stores. She even had a friend look for one when she was in Florida - nope - nowhere. Apparently it had been discontinued. Meanwhile, Makenna was going on and on about how much she wanted this Pegasus Webkin. Finally her mommy told her that she had been looking but couldn't find one anywhere, to which Makenna simply smiled and said "That's okay Mom, Santa can make me one, he knows how much I want one. "
Crap.

So Santa did bring her a Webkin, and it did have wings, but it was a dragon. A cute blue and white dragon...same idea with the wings and all...but it was no horse.

Santa was a bit worried that the dragon wouldn't suffice and wondered how her parents would explain to her the reason he ignored her request for a Pegasus Webkin.

Makenna came downstairs that morning, spied her new Webkin and named it "Sparkle" on the spot. Sparkle accompanied Makenna everywhere she went during Christmas weekend and Makenna never looked back.

Lucky for Santa, since she has received "Sparkle", not a word has been said about a Pegasus Webkin. He must be very relieved that Makenna is such an easygoing girl.
PS - If any of Santa's elves ever happen to come to come across a Pegasus Webkin, Makenna's mommy would be most grateful.
:)
