About Me

Melissa
I grew up in a village of 500 people and now live in a beach town of 10 000. Wife to Jeff, Mama to Makenna and Jack. This is my place to share what's up with us, and the place where I sometimes need to pour my heart out about the not so sunshiney moments. This is my happy place. Meal Plan!

I cleaned out my pantry, all of my cupboards and my freezers today. Took stock of what I had and what I needed, and got rid of some stuff I have had for waaaaaaaaay too long. It felt good.
And, from that, I came with my....

Meal Plan!

Monday - Pizza from New Orleans...it's school/daycare fundraising time, and we will be supporting my friend Barb's home daycare. You can too, on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Jeff is not home for supper on Monday night.

Tuesday - Grilled Cheese and Fries. I am not home for supper Tuesday night.

Wednesday - Beef Pot Pie. I am writing this on Sunday night. Tonight (sunday) we had roast beef for supper, and we made enough of it to make beef pot pie too. So we made it from the leftover beef, potatoes, vegetables and gravy, and it just came out of the oven now (8pm). So I just have to warm it up on Wednesday. yum.

Thursday - Lasagna. Maybe with ground chicken instead of ground beef? hmmm...

Friday - Burgers. I have Smoyc night Friday night. yay for me!

Saturday - We might be at Jeff's parents' for supper, not sure. If not, then we'll have spaghetti and meatballs here.

Sunday - supper with my mom, my grandma, and Mike and Nicole at Crabby Joes, for Mothers Day...at least that's my plan. Kids eat free on Sundays.

What are you eating this week?
